Youth Education

Our UNA Youth Education Committee is dedicated to encouraging and assisting local students, at all levels, to actively learn about world issues and the vital work of the United Nations. One of the best ways to do this is through experiential learning in Model United Nations (MUN), where students take on the roles of UN delegates from various countries.

In Model United Nations, students not only learn about diverse global issues and the perspective of their assigned countries, but attend conferences where they interact with many other schools, and develop a variety of skills such as research, writing, public speaking, drafting resolutions and building consensus among people and countries with different perspectives and interests.
